American, 19th century. Three piece coin silver set comprising of a handled pitcher and two matching goblets. All with grape cluster motif in repousse with additional decoration in engraved scrolling and leaves and chased borders. Pitcher with beaded border on spout, neck, top of circular foot and bottom rim. Handle with ornate leaf tip and panther head motif. Exterior of pitcher with engraved dedication that reads" PRESENTED TO W.L.Nelson Supt M. & O. R.R. as a testimonial of respect BY THE EMPLOYEES, Nov. 8th, 1860. All items apparently unmarked. Height of pitcher 15.5". Height of goblet 6.75". Total weight approximately 44.5 troy ounces.
