Italian, 20th century. After Marcel Breuer (Hungarian, 1902-1981), pair of matching iconic mid century modern design Wassily style lounge chairs with a bent tubular steel frame with a polished chromed metal finish and brown leather seat, arm rest and back. Height 28.5", width 31", depth 28". Note: Marcel Breuer was an apprentice at the Bauhaus in 1925 when he conceived the first tubular steel chair, the Wassily chair, based on the tubed frame of a bicycle. The Wassily chair, is also known as the Model B3 chair.
