Continental, 19th Century. Matched pair of Old Paris style porcelain vases, each with urn shaped body decorated with alternating gilt enamel on white ground, the body mounted to each side with a pair of ram mask handles, reserved on the body with a finely painted fruit and floral still life in a basket headed with blue drapery, the reverse with extensive landscape featuring roosters and other aviary species. Both with turned socle foot mounted on square rouge marble bases. Height 12.25", width 8", marble base 4.75". Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia.
