AFRICAN GURO CARVED POLYCHROME MASKS, 2 PCS, H 27" & 29", IVORY COAST:Includes one with an oval, elongated hollow form, featuring a twisted beard, with a dual bird figure totem, measuring H. 29"; and one surmounted by a carved bird totem, with a protruding animal form beard at the base, measuring H. 27 1/2". Both show scarification to the cheeks and forehead, with protruding full lipped mouths, and slanted eyes. Property from the Henry Stallings II Collection, Detroit, MI.
