KIRTLAND SAFETY SOCIETY BANK ONE DOLLAR BANK NOTE, DATED JAN 4, 1837:$1. 00 note dated Jan. 4, 1837, serial #117 plate 'A'; signed by J. Smith Jr. and authenticated and graded by PCGS Currency. Notes were issued by the Mormons when they were in Kirtland, Ohio. Smith notes were issued by the Mormons when they were in Kirtland, Ohio, before they migrated to Utah, where they re-issued them with Brigham Young's signature. Mounted in protective sleeves.
