Japanese, Early 19th Century, possibly earlier. Pair of unmatched Japanese Imari decorated temple jars with lids similar in decoration and form but unmatched due to size. Both jars with finial, above a domed cover, and lobed tapering body, decorated with panels of flower heads and perching birds amidst prunus. Height 8.8", width 4.25"; height 9.4", width 4.25".
