Fernand Leger(French, 1881-1955) , gouache on paper landscape, initialed lower right "FL 49", bears a label verso stating that on April 6, 1974, Madame Nadia Leger verified the authenticity of the work as being the design for the opera "Bolivan" and signed, "Jardot"(Maurice Jardot), 7" x 13 1/4".
