CATALOGUE CORRECTION: we are unsure as to which Villard this is - the signature does not match that of Antoine Villard (French 1867-1934), however several auction houses, including Freeman, Clars, Treadway and Hindman have all sold paintings in the same style and with the same signature as being by Antoine Villard, and Susanin's is offering one in their May auction with the same signature and in the same style.
