PAUL YOUNG SIGNED, 'MARTHA MARIE' MODEL FLY ROD, C1950, H 7'6": The rod and the two tips are all numbered #4368, At the end of the handle is a black end piece with a rectangular outline inscribed: Paul H Young Co. Detroit, Mich. Inscription on main piece reads: 'A Paul H. Young Co. rod, Martha Marie Model, 7' 6 3/4", 07'; At the end of the main rod where it attaches to the tips, the ferrule is inscribed with an engraved marking (within a circle there is the word SUPER and Z), these were patented in 1949. Rod is mounted in a 10" H. x 50" W. open shadow box. The 'Martha Marie' model was named after his wife. The fly rod is '2 2 2 staggered' construction; good condition, GA.
