VILLEROY & BOCH, METTLACH STEIN, C. 1900, H 8 1/2":Number 1742, half-liter size, etched with scene of the city of Gottingen flanked by two men, one holds a powder horn, the other a sword, signed "Warth", pewter thumb lift and hinged lid with medallion center, impressed marks at the underside include Old Tower mark, form number, and year '99 (see photo). Measures H.7 1/2", 8 1/2" overall.
