Chinese, 18th/ 19th century. A framed hand painted rice paper scroll decorated with potted vessels, one a low rectangular planter with a pink chrysanthemum growing up above leaved plants and a tall branch reaching to the top of the scroll, and the other a tall circular urn set behind with a small pink flowering plant growing around a planted rock. A closed lotus blossom with leaves adorns the lower left side of the scroll, and black calligraphic marks aside double red stamps are presented top left. Framed 59.5" x 32.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. T. Elder Pearce in Ellijay, Georgia.
