MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURAL GROUP, 19TH C. , H 8", W 8":Marked at the underside with blue double crossed swords with incised seconds marks (see photo). Meissen group of mother and child. The child is seated on a cradle holding a rattle. This model is in biscuit porcelain which was popular during the neo classical period, towards the end of the eighteenth century and the beginning of the nineteenth. First modeled by Acier with the help of Schönheit in 1775.
