HENRY C. ROBERTS (MICHIGAN 1896 - 1950), OIL ON MASONITE, WOMAN, 17 1/2" X 15 1/2":Signed lower right and framed. From the Ex. Estate of Mary Schulte. Henry Roberts spent two years in France, studying under Fernand Leger and Auxenfant at the Academy of Modern Art in Paris and later he studied under Henri Matisse in the South of France. He has pictures on permanent exhibition at the Detroit Institute of Arts, and at the Jules Cheret Museum in Nice, France.
