Chaineux, Brevete, 36 cal., double action revolver, with fine engraving on the octagon barrel section of the round 6" barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap, and 12 - round cylinder. A Liege proof is stamped on the cylinder. Has an ejector rod on the right side, loading gate, and lanyard ring on the butt. Fitted with checkered walnut grips featuring a carved leaf at the top. Serial number '1' is stamped on the front of the cylinder and the underside of the frame in front of the cylinder. Very fine specimen for its age. In working order.
