Chinese, 19th century, possibly earlier. Hand carved and polychromed wooden figural sculpture depicting Buddha standing barefoot at full length with bald head, elongated earlobes, calm and peaceful facial expression wearing gilt floral decorated red robes with stylized draping with arms out in front of body holding a small object in hand with opposite hand in mudra gesture. Figure standing on a lotus flower motif integral base. Apparently unsigned. Approximate height 36.1", width 10.5", depth 9.5".
