HENRY C. ROBERTS (MICHIGAN 1896 - 1950), WATERCOLOR ON PAPER MOUNTED ON BOARD, 22 1/4" X 19 1/4":Signed lower right. From the Ex. Estate of Mary Schulte. Henry Roberts spent two years in France, studying under Fernand Leger and Auxenfant at the Academy of Modern Art in Paris and later he studied under Henri Matisse in the South of France. He has pictures on permanent exhibition at the Detroit Institute of Arts, and at the Jules Cheret Museum in Nice, France.
