Chester County, Pennsylvania Queen Anne walnut spice chest, ca. 1750 , the molded edge top over a recessed panel door opening to a 13 drawer interior, over a molded edge base and straight bracket feet, the center drawer inscribed "Made by Richd Riley Goshen", 21 1/4" h., 15" w., 8 3/4" d. Illustrated and documented in Furniture and its Maker of Chester County by Schiffer, pg. 86, 87, and 88. Provenance: Descended in the David Hoopes family, Chester County.
