JAMES DIXON & SONS, VICTORIAN SHEFFIELD PLATE TEA TRAY, C. 1835, W 22 1/2", L 35":Oval shape with notched and threaded rim, flanked by acanthus leaf handles, featuring a hand-chased floral and vine pattern at the well, centered by a three-letter monogram, raised on six flat, round feet. Raised mark at the reverse features a lion and unicorn flanking a crown and shield, above "James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield".
