Japanese, 19th century. A porcelain Arita/ Imari bottle form floor vase with figural scenes in cartouches to opposing sides of body, each with courtly figures in a landscape setting, with wide rust colored band to ruffled rim and round base decorated with flowers and c scrolls, the remainder of body decorated with blooming chrysanthemum blossoms, prunus fruit, birds and leaves in hand painted enamel and gilding, and applied rabbit form handles to either side of neck. Approximately 43.25" tall x 14.75" diameter at top.
