FRENCH ORMOLU & FRUITWOOD INLAY TANTALUS SET, C. 1920, 13 PCS.,:Having a contoured triangular shape of walnut with hinged two piece lid and side panel both with hand painted floral porcelain medallions with gilt bronze frames and engraved hinges. Hand painted. When unlocked the lid lifts up and brings along the front panel which is hinged to the top. This opens the side panels exposing gilt bronze frame work for securing the one decanter and the 10 liquor glasses, with spaces for three additional decanters (not included). Bronze button feet.
