PAUL DE LAMERIE STERLING CENTERPIECE, LONDON, C. 1745, H 6", L 14 1/8":An oval footed centerpiece, comprised of a shell form bowl, fitted with a scrolled sea monster figural handle, and dolphin feet. The piece measures H.6" x 14 1/8" x 9 1/4". Hallmarked at the underside with the lion passant, crowned leopard, date letter "k", and the maker's mark (see additional photograph).
