American (North Carolina), mid 20th century--circa 1960s. Set of six Drexel mid-century modern dining chairs (one armchairs, five side chairs) with teak wood frames with elongated back splat with triangular negative space at sides, minimal streamlined arms--possibly designed by John Van Koert (American, 1912-1998). Each with white to off-white vinyl upholstery. Labels on underside from Drexel with stencil marks. Armchair approximate height 31.5", width (across arms) 22.5", depth 20", seat to floor 18". Side chair approximate height 31.5", width 19.75", depth 18.25", seat to floor 17.75".
