Chinese, 20th century. Carved figural sculpture depicting a group of six galloping and leaping horses with mouths open and teeth exposed with long mane and raised tails. Animals carved out of light celadon green stone with darker speckles throughout. Unmarked. Sculpture raised on custom fitted wood stand with scrolled reticulated band above five squat feet. Overall height 6.5", length 14.5". Length of carving 13.75".
