ROYAL VIENNA PORCELAIN TRAY, C1900, H 10 1/2", W 12:a hand painted Royal Vienna tray depicting a classical courtyard scene, with a young man playing a lyre and three young ladies looking on. Elaborately trimmed at the edges in cobalt blue enamel and fired gold. Royal Vienna (beehive) mark on the verso. Originally from the housekeeper of Benton Hanchett (b. 1835, d. 1931), prominent Saginaw, Michigan family and gifted to the consignor. Framed and mounted as a wall plaque.
