METTLACH STONEWARE STEIN BY HEINRICH SCHLITT, VILLEROY & BOCH, 1913, H 7", #2778:A 1/4 liter stoneware stein, cylindrical shape with flared base, pewter thumb lift and lid centered by inlaid shield with jesters, etched interior castle setting with feasting and entertainers, signed "Heinrich Schlitt" at the side, impressed marks underneath include the Old Tower Trademark, form number 2778, and date '13 (see additional photo). Measures H.7" to the thumb lift, Dia.3 3/4" at its widest.
