GEORGE V STERLING BOWL BY LIONEL A. CRICHTON, LONDON, 1914-15, H 5", DIA 8":Sterling silver bowl in the form of a monteith, or punch bowl, with a notched rim and paneled sides, flanked by lion's mask and scroll handles, raised on a circular foot. Hallmarks include a lion passant, uncrowned leopard, date letter "t", and maker's mark "LAC" for Lionel Alfred Crichton (see additional photo), stamped underneath as well, "Crichton Bros., New York & London, 12201" (see photo). Measuring H.5 1/4" x 8 1/4", and weighs approximately 25.72 troy oz.
