Classical carved gilded, stenciled and ebonized flip top games table. Purchased ca. 1818 by James Weeks. Ex. Estate of James Huggins Weeks and Susan Weeks. Purchased from the estate they built named 'Lilacs' in Yaphank, Long Island, NY. D 18 1/4" closed, D 37" opened. Mahogany flip top with stenciled edge. Fruit and foliated stencil on apron. Carved scrolling and leaf capital. Tapered column. Four carved scrolling leaf and paw feet on castors. From the estate of Ronald Fox, Detroit and Ann Arbor, MI.
