Anthony Thieme (American (California/ Pennsylvania), 1888-1954). "Pescadores en la Manana (Fisherman in the Morning)", oil on canvas, signed lower right. Marine genre painting depicting a group of fisherman on the beach at dawn standing in front of and in between three beached wooden fishing boats with white triangular sails high on their masts, some of the men with large baskets for hauling fish and one man at center picking up a fallen fish off the beach. Verso of canvas with title, verso of frame with round Christie's label. Framed approximately 31" x 36", unframed approximately 25" x 30.125".
