WHITING MFG. CO. STERLING COVERED ENTRÉE SERVER, 1919, L 9.5":An oval sterling silver serving dish with cover, each is monogrammed "C-D" within. The base is stamped with the manufacturer's mark underneath, number 4811, and date mark for 1919, while the cover and detachable handle are stamped "Sterling 5." Measures H.4 3/4" x 9 1/2" x 6 1/2". Totaling approximately 15.6 troy oz. Base is badly dented. From a prominent Ann Arbor, Mi. estate.
