HUGH ACTON (AMERICAN), CHROME-PLATED STEEL & MARBLE OCCASIONAL TABLE, H 20", DIA 18":A round white marble top with gray veining raised on a tapering standard and round base; with original label underneath (see additional photo). Mid 20th century. Provenance: The Estate of Roger Margerum (1930-2015), a Detroit-based architect known for his innovative light filled designs. His works include the Ambassador Bridge shelter, The Air force Academy in Colorado Springs, Hart Plaza, and his own home, a 45 degree polygon house built on Detroit’s east side once featured in the Fall 2008 issue of Detroit Home magazine.
