Printed on bottom of engraving "From the original drawing by Hans Holbein, in his majesty's collection, Published February 1, 1796 by I. Chamberlaine, engraved by F. Bartolozzi R.A. historical engraver to his majesty". Holbein was a German Northern Renaissance painter and a main portrait painter to King Henry VIII.
