American School, 20th century. "Reclining Nude", patinated bronze, apparently unsigned. Well handled highly abstracted figural sculpture depicting a reclining nude female handled in the Cubist manner, her triangular and simplified legs resting atop each other as the figure reclines on her side, the figure curving into itself at front as the torso bends forward and up toward knee exposing bulbous breasts below two arced forms representing her head and arms, her body to verso with split created by legs continuing up to base of neck, the sculpture with an allover verdigris finish. Approximately 9.75" tall x 17.75" wide, 13" deep.
