German,19th century. Group of four Meissen porcelain figurines of winged cherubs, putti or cupids, each portraying an allegory of love, figures standing on triangular bases with chamfered corners with paterae, each with title in French script on oval plaque at front center, all marked on bottom with blue crossed pommel swords for Meissen. Group comprising of "Love Crowned" (plaque with "Te les couronne") with cherub or puto in light purple sash and golden quiver of arrows adorning a heart resting on a parcel gilt pedestal with ram's head mounts with a floral crown; "Love Tamed" (plaque "Te les dompte" with winged cherub or puto in green billowing sash examining heart on wheeled leash with hand mirror amid abstract foliage or cloud; "Love Punished" (plaque "Te Les Punis") with winged cupid holding up heart with right hand, left hand holding (missing knife). slivers of a heart atop marble column, adorned with pink ribbon, tree stump behind cherub, putto adorned with light green sash; and "Love Held Captive" (plaque "Te le captive") with cherub peering into rectangular empty cage placed on top stones preparing to stow a heart that rests in hand.
