French, Early 19th century. A circa 1810 green painted and parcel gilt trumeau mirror comprising two long posts joined by three cross rails forming upper and lower panels, the upper panel surmounted by the highest cross rail forming a cornice with two black painted ball finials, framed by a conforming gilt cavetto cove molding, decorated with a painted Greek style black figure warrior within a diamond painted beaded form cartouche surmounted by a central classical ribbon, the lower panel with rectangular mirror framed by parcel gilt cavetto cove molding, overall terminating in two gilt plinths. Approximate height: 77.5" width: 33" depth: 3".
