English, 19th century (circa 1820-1860). A mahogany wood linen press in the late Georgian style with flame mahogany veneers and oak secondary wood, the upper case comprising of a cyma curve molded cornice surmounting a pair of flame mahogany veneered paneled doors opening to an interior with five molded sliding shelves over a cyma curved waist molding, the lower case comprising two short over two long drawers with brass circular patera mounts and ring pulls, all resting on four ring turned bun feet. Approximate height 84", width 52.5", depth 22.5". Interior measurements: wardrobe slides approximate width 49.5", depth 19". The two short drawers width 24", depth 19", height 6.5". Middle drawer width 49.5", depth 19", height 7.5". Base drawer width 49.5", depth 19", height 8.5".
