CHINESE NORTHERN CELADON WARE BOWL, 19TH. C., DIA 4 5/8":A deep bowl with rounded sides, flattened narrow rim and a rather high narrow foot-rim. On the inside are vertical ribs dividing it into six panels. Outside is decorated with deeply carved sketchy wave-like pattern. The grayish-white porcelaneous body is covered with an olive-green glaze, except the base and inner side of the foot-rim which show a fine cream-buff paste. Found in Samar Island, Philippines.
