CHINESE CH'ING-PAI WARE SAUCER AND BOWL, SUNG AND YUAN DYNASTY, DIA 2 3/8", DIA. 2 7/8":Saucer is Sung Dynasty, 2 3/8". A small saucer with flattened rim and shallow sides fluted inside and out. It has a slightly raised solid round base which is unglazed, showing a rusty-beige paste. Decorated on the inside bottom with a rosette in low relief. The thinly potted translucent porcelain body is covered with a pale blue transparent ch'ing-pai lying-ch'ing. Repair. Bowl is Yuan Dynasty, 2 7/8".
