American, late 19th century. A large white metal and yellow pine handled boiler pot or whiskey still, likely southern, the large drum shaped container with lip to front and secured yellow pine boards to front and back, the sides mounted with cone shaped handles. Interior of pot with affixed rod. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 22.8", diameter of pot 16.15". Approximate width of pot 29.25" handle to handle. Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Helen Ballard, Atlanta, Georgia.
