American School, first half 20th century. "Sailboats at Sea", oil on wood board, indistinguishably signed lower left "J. L. Tru???". Well painted marine painting depicting two dominant sailboats afloat on a deep green sea with a steam boat to horizon line, the sky blue with a line of puffy white clouds through center. Framed approximately 13.5" x 16.625". Unframed approximately 9" x 12".
