Queen Anne Cherry Carved Scroll-top High Chest of Drawers, Connecticut, c. 1740-60, the top section with scrolled cornice centering the turned finial, with central fan-carved short drawer flanked by drawers and four thumbmolded graduated drawers below, set into lower section of long drawer and central fan-carved drawer flanked by two drawers, on concave shaped valanced skirt joining cabriole legs ending in pad feet on platforms, old brasses, refinished, (top probably of different origin), ht. 78, wd. 37 3/4, dp. 18 in.
