Four Colorless Glass Fluid Lamps, America, 19th century, the first Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. , c. 1850, with a free-blown font with engraved swags on a press-molded base via a complex pyramidal-shaped wafer, on a baluster shaft with interior ribbing, square base, topped with camphene burners; the second Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., c. 1850, a pressed-pattern lamp in the 'Star & Bull's Eye' pattern, on a hexagonal paneled shaft and base; a colorless glass free-blown peg lamp, circa 1835, the font embellished with engraved swags and punties, mounted with brass whale oil burners and brass collar, the font later mounted into circular pewter base (scratched into bottom, "Oct. 28, 1901" and signature); the fourth a blown and pressed glass lamp with mouth-blown font embellished with wheel engraved grape cluster motif, mounted on a ring-formed wafer affixed to a press-molded cascading waterfall scalloped square-form base, with camphene burner, ht. 10 1/4, 8 7/8, 8 1/2, 7 in., respectively.
