Classical Mahogany Carved and Mahogany Veneer Glazed Desk Bookcase, New England, c. 1825, the top section with reeded pillar and scroll cornice, above two glazed doors opening to a shelved three-drawer interior, below which are two external cockbeaded half-drawers, on projecting base with fold-out writing surface, two half drawers, and two recessed long drawers flanked by vase and ring-turned spiral-carved columns, all on vase and ring-turned legs, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 81 1/2, wd. 38 3/4, dp. 19 in.
