Chinese Export Oval Covered Tureen, and Dish, late 18th/early 19th century, the tureen and dish decorated with a shield containing three powder horns topped by a crown and flanked by lions, round floral bordered reserves with torch and quivers or horn and hat motifs, undulating flowering vine and gilt embattled borders, the tureen with flower finial and boar's head handles, (cover with repairs,, dish with rim chips), tureen ht. 6 1/2, dia. 11, 11 7/8 in.
