American School, 19th Century, Portrait of a Young Man with Rosy Cheeks. Unsigned. Oil on canvas, depicting a bust-length portrait of the brown-haired and brown-eyed man, wearing a red cravat, white shirt, and black jacket, 13 x 11 7/8 in., in a molded giltwood frame. Condition: Canvas laid down onto Masonite, craquelure. Note: An old tag on the reverse reads, "Attributed to: Goodell c. 1834" and "Ira Chaffee Goodell 1800-187?".
