English, 19th Century. Mason's Patent Ironstone lidded tureen in the Mandarin pattern with unmatched ladle. The scrolled finial handle to the lid and slotted for ladle, the whole decorated in white ground with gilt enamel and colors of cobalt, pink, orange,blue, green and yellow. The shaped body mounted with handles, marked to the underside. The ladle unmarked and decorated with flowering foliage in pastel shades. Height of tureen 9.5", width 14.5", depth 8". Ladle is 9" in length.
