Lithograph on paper depicting full-length silhouette portrait of John Forsyth of Georgia who served as Secretary of State in the Van Buren administration, sheet size 16 x 12 in., framed. Condition: Minor toning, Note: William Henry Brown was a traveling portrait painter and silhouettist of distinguished persons in New England, Philadelphia and the South. A book of his lithographs from his full-length silhouettes entitled Portrait Gallery of Distinguished Americans was published in 1846.
