Edmund Darch Lewis (Philadelphia, 1835-1910), oil on canvas "View On The River" depicting a river at Autumn which originates high in the mountains and flows into the scene by way of a waterfall pictured in the near background flanked on either side with trees in hues of gold, rust, and green, while three large trees in the immediate foreground top a single figure walking up a serpentine path away from the viewer beneath clouded blue skies. Signed lower right "Edmund D. Lewis, 1876". Framed 37.75" x 27.5", unframed 30" x 20". _x000D_
