Indiana navy blue and white jacquard coverlet by William Craig, Jr. , the corner blocks inscribed "W. Craig, Greensburg, DC. Co. IA, 1850", the bottom and top borders with leafless trees, menorahs, and cornucopias, the sides with flowers and willow trees shadowing a tiny farmer, cow, and farm house, 89" x 70". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 150 and 151.
