Mintons Pate-sur-Pate Vase and Cover, England, late 19th century, decorated by Lawrence Birks, wreath and ribbon handles, light cream ground with raised gold foliage bordering a central brown ground panel of allegorical female with cherubs to one side, trophy and basket of flowers to the reverse, framed with a light blue band and centrally connected with a wide green ground band, artist signed and printed mark, (piece of ribbon restored), ht. 15 1/2 in.
