A. Jaeckel Fine Fur Muff in Original Box, 19th/early 20th century, box labeled "A. Jaeckel, Manufacturer, Importer & Dealer in Fine Furs & Garments, No. 11 East 19th Street, New York." Provenance: With a card from Miss Pendleton and a copy of a New York Times article originally published in 1889 regarding A. Jaeckel at the Paris Exhibition. Great condition for its age, a few areas of lighter fur, possibly losses.
